This gorgeous piece features an isolated and well-terminated (DOUBLY-terminated at that!) crystal of rose quartz perched on weathered albite. The rose quartz measures just over an inch in size. Exquisite piece! Seldom do you see such well-formed rose quartz for some reason, compared to other members of the quartz family of minerals. Also, they rarely occur in isolation as opposed to in clusters of intergrown crystals. Thus, I consider this a super-premium, competition level miniature. 5 x 4 x 2.1 cm
