A DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS, two-sided combination specimen from Cavnic, Romania. An aesthetic, divergent spray of glassy, milky quartz crystals to 3.5 cm jauntily rests atop a massive rhodochrosite crust covered with vibrant, pink, tiny, flattened rhodchrosite rhombs. A second generation of tiny, snow-white needle quartz crystals stunningly coats the rhodochrosite and large quartz crystals. The needle quartz band on rhodo is dramatic.
