Pinakiolite is a very rare magnesium, manganese borate unique in the world to the Langban deposit of Sweden. This is a fine, very rich specimen of lustrous, black laths to 7 mm scattered on the front of the specimen. Pinakiolite grains are richly peppered on both the front and especially the back of the piece. Accompanied by an older, faded Ward's label. Ex. Mullane Collection.
