I want to say right off that the photos DO NOT capture the unbelievable iridescent rainbow flash of this extraordinary specimen. The true colors flashing across the face of this botryoidal limonite specimen are amazing greens, reds and golds that the camera could not pick up. The luster is an intense, almost wet look.
