Small Cabinet, 6.1 x 5.6 x 3.5 cm
Crystallized native lead is rare in the world, which is a surprising fact most people do not realize. Specimens like this, with at least some aesthetics for a gray, matte mineral, are extremely uncommon (and tend to be rather old, as well). This matte, dark gray specimen, which is well balanced overall, features several modified and elongated crystals to 1 cm across. As with most lead crystals, they are somewhat crude, but they ARE quite recognizable and are extremely abundant and well-displayed on this specimen. It has a very high specific gravity and heft, as you would expect. 6.1 x 5.6 x 3.5 cm
