Inyoite is a rare borate. A sharply geometric specimen of two, gemmy and lustrous, pseudo-rhombic inyoite crystals are embedded in a much larger crystal. The inyoite crystals are preferentially encrusted on selective faces with snow-white meyerhofferite crystals, a nice accent. These specimens come from a recent, but small find in an arid, high altitude valley of Argentina.
