This tsavorite crystal is unusually wellformed and complete for the species - they tend to be partial crystals, in this size range, more often that not. It sits on graphite matrix. The color is unusual in that it is more dark and olive-colored compared to the traditional bright green hues, but the form makes up for this and it is still, I think, a very interesting locality garnet specimen 2 x 1.9 x 1.5 cm
