- Vesper Peak, Sultan Basin, Sultan District, Snohomish Co., Washington, USA
- Small Cabinet, 5.5 x 4.3 x 4.3 cm
A large, very rich specimen of Washington grossular garnet, from the collection of Bill Larson. Washington grossulars are hard to obtain now, and this old-timer has literally DOZENS of flashing, lustrous crystals all over it. They measure to 0.6 cm, and they are really GEMMY, with the beautiful coffee color characteristic for this locality.
