This is an unusually large and rich specimen of Friedelite in a rich carpet of wonderful golden crystals covering amost a solid 7 x 4 cm of the display face! These crystals are relatively large and individually eye-visible, to 1 mm in size I'd say. They are smaller but brighter and more lustrous than on the above specimen. More coverage is scattered about the back as well, so the piece can actually be trimmed in two nice halves. The matrix is a typical mix of franklinite/calcite/willemite and is highly fluorescent. 11 x 6 x 4 cm
