- Quartz on Faden Quartz
- Waziristan, Northwest Frontier Province, Pakistan
- Small Cabinet, 8.3 x 5.5 x 2.4 cm
- Ex. Martin Lewadny

Outstanding doubly-terminated crystal that is pristine save for one contacted face along the back. The faden zone (the stringlike line in the middle) is nearly straight, and traverses the center of the crystal. Even more interesting is the fact that this tabular Quartz bends attractively right along the faden zone. A terrific example of this variety of Quartz.
