A remarkable miniature with two exceptionally gemmy tourmalines to 3 cm perched on the side of a smoky quartz crystal. They have brilliant luster and an olive green color that is apparent in good lighting. This specimen was collected in attempts to find a "backdoor" into the Himalaya after the main adit collapsed, and before the mine was formally closed.
