A rich, gorgeous pink-colored crystal from this classic mine which only rarely produces morganite! This is similar to one shown in the recent Beryl issue of Lapis, from finds in the early-1980s. THIS IS A HUGE single crystal with fine luster. Areas of transparency highlight this gem crystal although it is too thick to be transparent, per se. In spite of being contacted around the bottom and rear of the specimen, the size, color, and transparency of this piece is breathtaking and more than makes up for it. In a display case, it GLOWS out at you. This is a hugely significant piece, thus, for its gut-impact value as well as its form and rarity for the locality.
