- Clinochlore (Var: Chromian Clinochlore)
- Miniature, 5.0 x 2.8 x 1.8 cm
- Kop Krom mine, Kop Daglari, Erzurum Province, Eastern Anatolia Region, Turkey
These fine specimens of vivid purple-red chromian clinochlore (aka Kammererite) were found in a series of remarkable pockets some 20 years ago. The major crystal (6mm) is lustrous and translucent. It is sharp and aesthetic as it sits on a matrix coated with a carpet of smaller Kammererites. Ex. Bill Pinch Collection.
