An attractive species of hydrated zinc copper sulfate, recently discovered on material brought up from Chile by Skip Szenics but recognized as something new by Dr. Georg Gebhard's wife, Christel. Since others had already hit the lesser but perfectly good reference specimens, I selected the single best specimen Terry had for sale when I saw him, and he vouched that it is one of the best of the find for richness and crystal size. It has crystals on both faces, as well as in a protected vug that runs along the majority of one side of the specimen. It has exceptionally large euhedral crystals for the occurrence, to 4-5mm, some of which seem to be pseudomorphing to paratacamite. There is also minor green microcrystals of paratacamite present. 5 x 3.5 x 2 cm
