A specimen of celestine (also known as "celestite") from the former Soviet republic of Tadzhikistan - it is not common to see celestines from here at all, as compared to the abundant ones from Madagascar, and even American specimens. This is a pocket full of extremely gemmy, glassy crystals (truly glasslike in person), with just the faintest blue-grey hue to them.
