When these new Carrollite specimens were first found about 4 years ago, they were instantly regarded as the best of species ever found. Some of the largest, sharpest, most impressive crystals of this rare Copper, Cobalt, Nickel sulfide came out of this find. This particular specimen features an excellent, sharp, well formed, lustrous, silvery color cuboctahedron measuring 2.0 cm on Calcite matrix. It's a good display specimen, despite having a contact along the front of the crystal and a small ding on the side. 7.5 x 6.5 x 3.8cm
