This is a GREAT calcite - it would be from ANY locality in the world. It has not only unusual size, but PERFECTION - the uniform beautiful silky luster, the fantastic symmetrical, striated pyramidal termination, and the perfect form. I love the two "shoulders," flattened crystals inter-grown against the sides. In pics, it looks rather boring - but in person, it is so impressive, and even feels good in the hand with its wonderful surface. Again, it is in PRISTINE condition, unusual for a crystal of this size.
