Bournonite, Arsenopyrite
Small Cabinet, 5.5 x 5.3 x 2.8 cm
Pachapaqui District, Bolognesi Province, Ancash Department, Peru
The sharpness and luster of these bournonites just did not come through in the pics; they are not dull or rough-looking, but have a nice gunmetal luster and are sharp cogwheels! Not only that, but they are isolated on the pretty pyrite-and-quartz matrix, and piled up attractively in the middle. All around a really nice bournonite specimen at a very reasonable price. 5.5 x 5.3 x 2.8 cm
