This is one of the more aesthetic and absolutely top quality specimens of Bournonite that I have offered from Bolivia. There was a find of his relatively rare copper sulfosalt about 6 years ago at Machacamarca, and this piece is one of the very best miniatures found. This piece features of an attractive, sharp, striated, tabular, silvery-grey color crystal of Bournonite measuring 2.6 cm with a few smaller sidecar crystals of equal quality sitting atop micro Quartz and Pyrite matrix. There was only one pocket from this mine that produced top quality Bournonite crystals on the very attractive Quartz and Pyrite matrix. For sure, this is one of the best miniatures from the find. Very attractive. 5.3 x 3.9 x 3.5cm
