I know this specimen has botryoids instead of "traditional French" discrete crystals, but it is very aesthetic, nevertheless, and wows you with the color and velvety texture. Crystalline quartz is the matrix for this pyro, which has an apple green crust on one side, leading to strategically placed spheres, up to 1 cm across, perched atop. The top cluster is complete ALL around. Unusual, dramatic, and colorful!
