For a brief time there about 5 years ago, it rained kermesite. However, that flood passed and standing now to look back, we now know that there were really very few specimens that were on matrix and of this caliber, for the size and price range. This is about the best you can ask for in condition and beauty, for the size. It is a super display specimen, and stands apart from many of the others which were just isolated clusters or single sprays, without matrix. Contrasting matrix, at that!
