T09ZIRC-01 - ZIRCON - $ 200 Harchoo, Astore, Northern Areas, Pakistan miniature, 3.2 x 3.1 x 1.8 cm
Rarely have crystals of zircon, from any worldwide locality, been as gemmy as these from a new find in Pakistan. This specimen features an equant, glassy and gemmy, wine red colored crystal, measuring 1 cm and perched aesthetically on a matrix of biotite mica. Mesmerizing little gem!
T09ZIRC-02 - Zircon - $ 300 Harchoo, Astore, Northern Areas, Pakistan miniature, 3.5 x 2.1 x 1.3 cm
A matrix of quartz and biotite mica hosts a few, equant, glassy and gemmy, orangy-red zircon crystals, to 1.5 cm across. Minor peripheral edge wear is present on one side of the zircon but the overall effect of the specimen is unaffected. This crystal is so sharp and lustrous, it looks cut and polished with a lapidary wheel.

Aesthetically perched high on a matrix of quartz and biotite mica, are a few, equant, glassy and gemmy, orangy-red, zircon crystals, to 9mm. A gem on matrix!

A trio of pristine, equant, glassy and gemmy, orangy-red, zircon crystals, to .75 cm in length, are aesthetically emplaced on a quartz biotite mica matrix. A fourth crystal, all but invisible, behind the other three, has minor damage but isn't a detraction in context. A superb thumbnail specimen!

Perched high on an alternating layered matrix of biotite mica, quartz, and biotite again, is a doubly terminated, equant, glassy and gemmy, wine red crystal of zircon measuring 1.0 cm across. Superb display and a sharp crystal so sharp it looks cut and polished.

Nestled in a mass of quartz and biotite mica are 6 glowing crystals of equant, glassy and gemmy, orangy-red, zircon, to 1 cm across. Very bright and showy!

A stunning, equant crystal of glassy and gemmy, reddish-orange, zircon is aesthetically perched high on a quartz & biotite mica matrix. The crystal measures 7.5 mm in length. It is GLASSY and sharp!
T09ZIRC-08 - Zircon - $ 125 Harchoo, Astore, Northern Areas, Pakistan miniature, 4.7 x 4.1 x 2.0 cm
An equant, glassy and gemmy, orangy-red crystal of zircon is perched high on a quartz biotite mica matrix. The crystal measures 1.0 cm in length. Minor contact is present near the back of the crystal but is insignificant.

On a sliver of quartz biotite matrix are two equant, glassy and gemmy, orangy-red crystals of zircon. The largest crystal measures 1.5 cm in length. This is the single largest crystal of this lot. The back side of this crystal is partially contacted, however, this is not apparent from the preferred viewing angles from which it certainly looks complete and pristine. A superb zircon from any locality, with wine-red color and glassy lustre.
T09ZIRC-10 - Zircon - $ 125 Harchoo, Astore, Northern Areas, Pakistan thumbnail, 2.6 x 2.1 x 1.5 cm
