A sculptural, floater cluster of intergrown scorodite of several habits, including a sharp, symmetric "bipyramidal" crystal to 2 cm in the middle, and more "pseudocubic" crystals to 1.25 cm around hte periphery. The piece is very elegant and completely unlike anything I have ever seen of this species, in overall aesthetics. The crystals are not opaque, but when backlit a faint purpley hue, and somewhat translucent. Lustre is high and reflective!

A fine plate from this find, with sharp crystals to 6 mm embeddded in pyrite matrix. A little too intermixed with pyrite to command a visual premium, but only by a hair...No slouch by historic standards from any locality, I should say, and a good price for a display-worthy scorodite.

A large thumbnail featuring a whopping 2.2 cm crystal , doubly-terminated, perched right in the middle!!!! This is a shockingly large and complete crystal with super lustre. It has the weird purpley surface sheen so many of these do. Atop it is a secondary crystal, complete but with a small contact in its face and so this mars the overall specimen a little bit, but its still quite significant - you don't see 1 inch scoro's too often!

A MONSTER of a crystal, at 2.5 cm tall, makes this a "boxbuster " thumbnail specimen of some significance! The crystal is complete, though contacted on the left side. It is so thick that it is opaque, but has a surface sheen of the unusual blue-purple nature that many of these seem to possess. The sheer size, combined with sharp geometry, is shocking. This is the largest crystal in good condition, without being so lost in a jumble you cannot see it, that I have seen in the find. Others are larger, by a little bit, but tend to be buried in the pyrite.

An arborescent cluster of deep blue, sparkling, glassy crystals to 9mm , perched upright and 3-dimensionally upon a knoll of rock matrix. Most unusual in that it sits on such contrasting matrix as opposed to massive pyrite or scorodite. Superb miniature, with a lot of colro and 3-dimensionality, at the top end for the finds.

A razor-sharp 9mm crystal crowns this "tower" of crystallized scorodite, making for a superb thumbnail, accented by minor pyrite sparkle.

This is flat-out one of the more colorful specimens, of classical blue scorodite compared to the purpley and darker hues predominant at this locality. Crystals are glassy in lustre, SHARP, and reach 9mm in size. They have mesmerizing reflective faces and complex forms when looked at up close. The value here comes from not just the quality of the crystals, but from the overall impact of intense blue which the piece fields as a whole. Hands-down, this is one of the finest pieces in the lot and if it were from Tsumeb, we'd be talking a 20k price, not less than 10k. Other specimens have larger xls or a more novel form, but this one is the most classic looking of all here, compared to the old styles. And the color...
