It features a very attractive golden orange, gemmy, tabular crystal group of Wulfenite aesthetically sitting on reddish-orange Mimetite on matrix. These pieces are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain these days, and they are truly some of the most impressive Wulfenites from any world locality.

8.7 x 5.0 x 4.0 cm. A EXCELLENT and AESTHETIC, OLD-TIME Tsumeb specimen of lustrous, caramel-colored wulfenites attractively set on contrasting quartz needle-covered matrix and FURTHER enhanced by the blue-green copper sulfate oxidation minerals devilline and serpierite. ALL of the major wulfenites are PRISTINE and the large complex crystal is 1.4 cm. The old, 1970s or early 1980s, dealer label misidentifies devilline and serpierite as rosasite.

8.7 x 8.7 x 2.5 cm. A large, very rich specimen from the exciting find covered in the February issue of the Min. Record. New wulfenite finds are of course quite uncommon, and in China there has been only one minor one over the past few decades. But this recent find is characterized by these deep red crystals in a rich profusion on the matrix. The crystals are not large, but are quite lustrous, and are isolated on the matrix rather than massed together, which adds to the attractiveness.
