MD-177536 - Whitlockite - - Archived Big Fish River, Dawson Mining District, Yukon Territory, Canada miniature, 3.6 x 1.8 x 1.6 cm.
3.6 x 1.8 x 1.6 cm. This specimen features a perfect, upstanding, huge crystal of whitlockite measuring 2.5 cm across and 1.5 cm tall. The crystal is translucent to transparent, and has a very good pearlescent lustre and good gemminess.
MD-179402 - Montgomeryite, Whitlockite, Microcline - - Archived Tip Top Mine (Tip Top pegmatite), Fourmile, Custer District, Custer Co., South Dakota, USA cabinet, 12.3 x 4.6 x 4.6 cm.
12.3 x 4.6 x 4.6 cm. A fine cabinet specimen of rare phosphates from the famous Tip Top Mine of South Dakota. Light salmon-pink sprays of bladed montgomeryite are richly scattered and stand out on a large, well-formed microcline cleavage that is covered with drusy white whitlockite.
MD-202071 - Whitlockite - - Archived Palermo No. 1 Mine (Palermo #1 pegmatite), Groton, Grafton Co., New Hampshire, USA cabinet, 10.9 x 8.8 x 7.8 cm.
10.9 x 8.8 x 7.8 cm. On this large pocket piece of quartz crystals are tiny whitlockites, very gemmy crystals to 2mm that look like albite for size and shape...that is why the label says "albite" with a "?". These are very significant, actually, for euhedral whitlockite crystals, particularly for this locality. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences Philadelphia Collection.
MD-250963 - Whitlockite - - Archived Palermo No. 1 Mine (Palermo #1 pegmatite), Groton, Grafton Co., New Hampshire, USA large cabinet, 16 x 15 x 13 cm.
16 x 15 x 13 cm. This huge specimen is probably the richest whitlockite specimen extent, for good quality, according to Whitmore and several people I consulted. He recovered it himself over 20 years ago from a small pocket in the mine he owns. It has great coverage and richness, but what really makes it notable are the huge, unusually well-developed crystals to nearly 1 centimeter. Most of the major crystals are clustered around one protected pocket, as well. Whitlockite is a very interesting species at the moment as some "whitlockites" have proven to be the new species Bobdownsite - this, however, is thought to remain a whitlockite. Pen shown for scale. Ex. Robert Whitmore Collection.
MD-43656 - Whitlockite - - Archived Rapid Creek, Dawson Mining District, Yukon Territory, Canada thumbnail, 1.4 cm
This specimen features the largest crystal for the species that I am personally aware of. It was collected in the field by French collector, from whom I obtained it in Munich when he sold a part of his longtime personal collection. Not only is the crystal large (to 1.4 cm), it is remarkably thick (6 mm, translucent) , as well, and stands out beautifully on matrix. Another unidentified white mineral is also present. This is a significant specimen for this rare phosphate species! 4.8 x 3.2 x 1.8 cm
MD-57433 - Whitlockite - - Archived Big Fish River, Dawson Mining District, Yukon Territory, Canada thumbnail, 2.5 cm
This specimen features a perfect, upstanding, HUGE crystal of whitlockite measuring 2.5 cm tall and 2 cm wide! The crystal is translucent to transparent, and has in person a very good pearlescent lustre and better gemminess than it appears in the photos. This is a spectacular specimen for the species, really redefining the size you can expect for such a crystal. As well, its a fine display miniature... 4 x 2.4 x 2.3 cm

RWHIT-29 - Whitlockite - $ 4500 SOLD Palermo #1 Mine, Groton, Grafton Co., New Hampshire, USA large cabinet, 16 x 15 x 13 cm ex. Robert Whitmore
It would be a shame to trim this into smaller specimens, and so I will not do it. Most of the major crystals are clustered around one protected pocket, as well. Whitlockite is a highly interesting species at the moment as some "whitlockites" have proven to be the new species Bobdownsite - this, however, is thought to remain a whitlockite
