4.9 x 4.7 x 2.3 cm. A lovely intricate cluster of crystals to 3 cm emerging out of the matrix creating a very attractive vertical specimen. The crystals are very clear, with excellent deep green color and very good luster.
11 x 9 x 6 cm. This majestic specimen is one of the very finest pieces to come from this find of 2003. It consists of a beautiful pair of lustrous and glassy crystals that cross very dramatically on matrix. The upright crystal is gem-clear and transparent, measuring in at 4 cm tall and 2 cm wide by 1.75 cm deep. The doubly-terminated crystal crossing it at the base is a full 9 cm tip-to-tip. It is, again, doubly-terminated and pristine on the front.
8.4 x 1.6 x 0.9 cm. This is a gem vivianite that is shaped almost like a tourmaline, especially when looking head-on. This crystal is entirely gemmy and is much more bright and lustrous and gemmy in person.
13.2 x 7.5 x 4.2 cm. A jackstraw arrangement of extremely lustrous, elongated, dark green vivianite crystals, to 2.0 cm in length (a large doubly-terminated crystal in middle). This is of good size for the deposit, and not many have ever come out. They are emplaced on a color-contrasting, limonite matrix. The vivianite crystals are in good shape with most having nail head terminations. I have never seen a cabinet specimen from this locality and this is thus a pretty significant Florida and US vivianite. These were mined in the mid-1980s by the mine geologist and kept in his collection.
4.4 x 3.3 x 3.1 cm. A brilliantly lustrous cluster of jackstraw, lustrous, dark bluish-green, vivianite crystals, to 1.25 cm in length, perched atop of a limonite stained matrix. This is one of the finest, richest miniatures I have seen from the locale. A significant Florida and US vivianite. These were mined in the mid-1980s by the mine geologist and kept in his collection.
2.6 x 1.9 x 1.3 cm. A vertical spray, on matrix, consists of several crystals, to 1.6 cm in length, of lustrous and translucent, blue to green colored vivianite. Extremely aesthetic.
2.3 x 1.5 x 0.4 cm. A small cluster of glassy and gemmy, blue-green, vivianite crystals, to 2.0 cm in length, exhibit branching or arborescent growth. Aesthetic.
1.9 x 1.6 x 0.3 cm. Forming an inverse V, are two crystals, to 1.5 cm in length, of glassy and gemmy, blue- green vivianite.
1.5 x 1.4 x 1.1 cm. Rising vertically from its matrix is a cluster of lustrous and translucent, blue-green vivianite, in crystals to .8 cm in length.
2.4 x 1.7 x 1.5 cm. A superbly formed crystal, of glassy and gemmy, blue-green, vivianite, 1.4 cm in length, is perched on matrix. Tim Blackwood Collection.
2.3 x 2.0 x 1.7 cm. Perched aesthetically on matrix is a cluster of glassy and gemmy, blue-green, crystals of vivianite, to 1.0 cm in length.
4.2 x 2.9 x 2.0 cm. This matrix specimen contains several lustrous and translucent, dark blue-green crystals, to 1.0 cm in length. A few of the vivianite crystals are also doubly terminated. A significant Florida and US vivianite. These were mined in the mid-1980s by the mine geologist and kept in his collection.
2.0 x 1.9 x 1.4 cm. Perched on white matrix is a lustrous and translucent crystal measuring 1.5 cm across. The crystal is doubly terminated and has a external color of black-blue. The internal color is greenish-blue.
4.0 x 3.2 x 2.3 cm. Perched high on a limonite stained matrix is a cluster of lustrous, dark green-blue colored vivianite crystals, to 1.0 cm across. At least two of the crystals are doubly terminated and also translucent, with a rich blue color.
3.0 x 2.4 x 1.6 cm. A cluster of vivianite crystals on matrix is topped by a lustrous and translucent, blue- green, crystals measuring 1.5 cm in length. Superb, rich thumbnail from this important but rare US locale for vivianite.
