4.7 x 2.5 x 2.0 cm. A lustrous, sharp, teal-green vivianite blade aesthetically set on matrix covered with tiny childrenite crystals from the famous Siglo XX Mine of Brazil. Choice material from the Marty Lewadny Collection of Winnipeg, Canada.
4.9 x 3.2 x 2.2 cm. This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen. This small cabinet size piece features absolutely beautiful, lustrous, gem-quality, emerald-green, sword shaped "textbook" crystals of Vivianite sitting atop metamorphosed Sandstone. A super overall Vivianite specimen from this unusual new find in Bolivia.
4.0 x 2.9 x 2.0 cm. A PRISTINE and AESTHETIC cluster of gemmy and lustrous, parallel-growth, emerald-green vivianite crystals from the recent finds in Bolivia. All of the crystals are very gemmy.
5.5 x 4.0 x 2.7 cm. This is a very good specimen of this remarkably rare iron phosphate consisting of wonderful, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, deep green, layered crystal groups of Ludlamite associated with lustrous gemmy blue Vivianite crystals sitting atop Pyrite matrix. The largest Ludlamite group of crystals measures 1.9 cm long and the largest Vivianite crystal measures 0.7 cm. There have been no more of these specimens found in the last 5 years from this locality, and it is a possibility there will never be any more.
6.8 x 3.4 x 2.2 cm. This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen. This small cabinet size piece features an absolutely beautiful, lustrous, gem quality, emerald green, doubly-terminated, sword shaped "textbook" crystal of Vivianite sitting atop metamorphosed Sandstone.
7.7 x 5.2 x 2.2 cm. A dramatic specimen of vivianite, with a complete, sharp, doubly-terminated crystal of 4.7 cm framed by and fully exposed on the contrasting matrix. The vivianite is gemmy, with the classic bottle-green color of Potosi vivianite.
5.6 x 4.1 x 2.5 cm. This small cabinet size piece features an absolutely beautiful, lustrous, gem quality, emerald green; sword shaped "textbook" crystal of Vivianite measuring 2.7 cm sitting atop metamorphosed Sandstone.
8.1 x 6.2 x 3.4 cm. This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen. This miniature size piece features some absolutely beautiful, lustrous, gem quality, emerald green; sword shaped "textbook" crystals of Vivianite with minor metamorphosed Sandstone. One of the Vivianite crystals is even doubly-terminated. These are some of the best quality Vivianite crystals you will see from any locality, hands down.
7.1 x 3.6 x 3.6 cm. This mine has produced what are clearly some of the finest quality Vivianite specimens ever seen. This small cabinet size piece features an absolutely beautiful, lustrous, gem quality, emerald green, sword shaped "textbook" doubly-terminated crystal of Vivianite with minor metamorphosed Sandstone.
14.3 x 11.3 x 6.7 cm. Here is a great old locality specimen of Vivianite from Bolivia. This cabinet size piece features beautiful, lustrous, sharp, gemmy, emerald green color, prismatic crystals of Vivianite measuring up to 5.6 cm associated with botryoidal Limonite on Pyrite matrix. This material is rarely seen in today’s market and this particular specimen is at least 25 years old. This is one of the finest examples of this material from Siglo XX that I have seen in this size range. A wonderful overall display specimen of excellent quality.
5.6 x 1.9 x 1.7 cm. A complete, gemmy, thick crystal of vivianite, with the classic bottle-green color for Bolivian vivianites, Some of the contrasting matrix is still attached on the contact side, where the crystal was removed. Even though this crystal is a full 1.3 cm thick, the light still gets through it - it is very gemmy!
9.6 x 8.4 x 5.2 cm. Dramatically isolated on a large, contrasting matrix is a pristine, complete, super crystal of vivianite. It measures 4.5 cm in length, and a thick 1.5 cm across. It is GEMMY, yet obviously dark because of its thickness. It has a really gleaming surface luster, looks almost polished! Ex. Bruce Carter Collection.
