4JA7 - Veszelyite - $ 1250 SOLD Black Pine Mine, Philipsburg, Montana, USA thumbnail, 1.8 x 1.6 x 1 cm
A rather large, excellent cluster of crystals from the location of the world's best Veszelyite, found over 30 years ago now and not found since in comparable quality. This remains the standard for the species! Excellent luster, deep blue-green color, and two good crystal terminations. A gem with unique vezy color, and really large crystals for the species as well.
DTN38 - Veszelyite - $ 5000 SOLD Black Pine Mine, Phillipsburg, Montana, USA thumbnail, 1.9 x 1.1 x 1.1 cm ex. Irv Brown
This very rare copper, zinc, phosphate, reaches its worldwide zenith in Montana. Or it did, anyhow, over 30 years ago! Such specimen are extremely rare and this is a HUGE crystal for the species, at the top of its size range except for a few freak outlying specimens. This cluster of extremely lustrous, rich and deep blue green veszelyite crystals , perched vertically on a small white quartz , is quite simply phenomenal and the best such I have had for sale. In person, it is much more 3-dimensional, and colorful as well. The blue is dark, true, but it IS a vivid blue color and not as dark as it looks in the photo. This is a very rare specimen of highest quality that ALSO happens to be a superbly balanced thumbnail specimen for the collector.
LTH-57 - Veszelyite - $ 450 Black Pine Mine, Phillipsburg, Granite County, Montana, USA thumbnail, 1.8 x 1.4 x 1.1 cm ex. Martin Lewadny
These Veszelyites, from a famous one-time find of small pockets found over 30 years ago, are best of species for both quality and aesthetics. Each crystal here is about 6 mm in size, unusually thick; and they have superb luster, deep midnight blue to turquoise color, and sharp form. Pieces of this quality dispersed immediately and now can be had only in the recycling of noted collections, since they were snapped up generally by such folks to begin with. Very aesthetic, and uncommon for the quality.
MD-168068 - Hemimorphite, Veszelyite - - Archived Laochang ore field (Laochang Mine), Eastern Sub-district, Gejiu Sn-polymetallic deposit, Gejiu Co., Honghe Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China small cabinet, 5.5 x 3.6 x 1.8 cm.
5.5 x 3.6 x 1.8 cm. An exceptional and lovely specimen of beautiful lustrous robin's-egg blue Hemimorphite, overlaying a layer of vitreous deep blue Veszelyite. The Veszelyite is notable in its own right, but to have it in such an aesthetic combination with the Hemimorphite is quite remarkable. Small find of a few years ago. Ex. Charlie Key.

Parallel crystals to 9mm perched amongst massive veszelyite make this a rich specimen, with lots of blue for the price! EXCEPTIONALLY RICH SPECIMEN...you almost never see xls in matrix like this, and with so much color! 2.5 x 2 x 1.5 cm
MD-196857 - Hemimorphite, Veszelyite - - Archived Laochang ore field (Laochang Mine), Eastern Sub-district, Gejiu Sn-polymetallic deposit, Gejiu Co., Honghe Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China cabinet, 13.4 x 8.4 x 3.4 cm.
13.4 x 8.4 x 3.4 cm. This Wenshan hemimorphite is really special. The plate of botryoidal hemimorphite itself is a pretty shade of sky blue. But what makes it unique is that you can see on it a sprinkling of crystals of the rare hydrated copper zinc phosphate veszelyite (zinc is a component of both hemimorphite and veszelyite; veszelyite also has a copper component).
