4JB4-LC161 - Variscite - $ 325 SOLD Itumbiara, Goias, Brazil miniature, 4.4 x 2.9 x 1.4 cm
A very nice 8mm ball-shaped cluster of crystals, deep green and lustrous. This is a vast improvement over the normal massive habit for the species and this small find in Brumado has produced what many folks consider best-of-species. THis particular piece has a fairly large ball (though not the biggest), but what really makes it is the top-percentile DEEP GREEN color and lustre, which is highly unusual and marks this as being among the top pieces.
