4.2 x 3.1 x 2.7 cm. An exceptionally rich example of this rare phosphate species (Ca and Zn-containing), from the classic locality for collectors if not the type locality itself. This piece has acicular crystals to over 1 cm, some of them translucent, perched dramatically atop. Ex. Martin Zinn Collection.

Another exceptionally rich example of this rare phosphate species (Ca and Zn-containing), from the classic locality for collectors if not the type locality itself. Specimens of this quality are few, and I have seen only 3 comparable for sale amidst a large selection of lesser quality and broken pieces over many years. This piece has acicular crystals to over 1 cm, some of them translucent, perched dramatically atop!

SHARP, golden crystals to 7 mm , including several of unusual thickness and width, perched nicely on a well trimmed matrix. An important example of both species and loclaity (andthis is type locale for the species). Many people do not realize that this location figured so prominently in identifying some of the rare phosphate species, but it did (in the 1960s).
