6.9 x 2.0 x 1.7 cm. A classic Sussexite specimen of a light pinkish color showing great fibrous form. These specimens are among some of the most easily recognizable minerals from all of Franklin. With over 350 species from this historic mining district, this one was actually named after the county where Franklin the mine is located. Ex. Kosnar Collection.

An attractive mass of waxy, lavender/pink sussexite, from the type locality for the species. This specimen is from the North Orebody portion of the mine. This material is very odd, and feels like talc when rubbed. 7 x 4 x 3.5 cm.
