4.5 x 3.4 x 3.3 cm. A classic and aesthetic zeolite specimen from the famous Prospect Park Quarry of New Jersey of a beautiful, lustrous, translucent, tan stilbite bowtie set on matrix with smaller stilbites. There are even three tiny prehnite crystals on the back of the bowtie. Showy and excellent material from the George Elling Collection.
6.3 x 3.9 x 3.8 cm. Brilliant clusters of peacock-blue cavansite on sparkly microcrystalline stilbite, from Poona. Larger cluster measures 1.8 cm.
7.1 x 5.6 x 4.4 cm. Pearly sheaves of light salmon-pink stilbite, with a complete, blocky 2.2-cm crystal of green apophyllite nestled amongst them.
13.9 x 9.4 x 3.8 cm. What an amazing specimen of stilbite! It is a ridge that was exposed all over in the pocket, so that crystals formed all around and on both sides. On one side, inclusions of celadonite have colored the stilbites a pretty green, framed by the creamy natural color of the non-included crystals. Ex. Ed David Collection.
7.9 x 5.2 x 5.0 cm. An exquisite Indian combo specimen, with a spectacularly gemmy crystal of apophyllite wrapped all the way around by pearly bowties of stilbite, of a light creamy color.
11.8 x 9.5 x 8.3 cm. Mordenite is one of the rarer members of the zeolite family. It forms fine sprays of radial acicular crystal clusters that look like pin-cushions or snowballs. Here, you see a huge 7-cm "snowball" intergrown with another about half its size. These are beautifully accented by cream-colored stilbites. A dramatic, striking, sizeable and uncommon Indian specimen from the noted mid-west minerals collection of George Feist (he also had a large Indian suite!).
5.0 x 4.2 x 2.5 cm. A 2.3-cm cluster of the brightest peacock-blue cavansite, isolated on a field of sparkly stilbites.
6.4 x 5.9 x 4.2 cm. A bloom of salmon-pink stilbite right beside a super-gemmy, brilliant apophyllite crystal - from Jalgaon. Ex. Feist Collection.
8.2 x 7.8 x 5.7 cm. This pretty India piece sits up all by itself. It features two big stilbite clusters, of a light peach hue, sitting up side-by-side on matrix, with a few small, pearly bowtie crystals of stilbite (different form) right on the front.
6.0 x 5.0 x 4.0 cm. An AESTHETIC and SUPERB specimen of a gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, 4.2 cm apophyllite crystal beautifully set upright amidst pearlescent stilbite blades on matrix. The piece glows like a gem and has a brightness and internal beauty to it, beyond what the pics show. Ex. Steve Smale Collection.
10.0 x 6.2 x 5.0 cm. I know that Indian Zeolite specimens are everywhere, but you must appreciate them for what they are. They are simply some of the finest crystallized examples of many of these species extant. This piece features a very good sized, sharp, lustrous, blocky green color crystal of Apophyllite with several tan Stilbite sheaves surrounding it. It’s an aesthetic cabinet size piece, and will probably end up being a great bargain for somebody. One day (eventually) India will not produce any more of these Zeolites, and they will more than likely receive great recognition for being the amazing display specimens that they are.
5.3 x 4.8 x 4.3 cm. Stilbites specimen comprised of tan color (a bit more of a golden color when backlit), sharp, semi lustrous, sheaves and blades of Stilbite creating one half of what would have been a "bow tie".
8.4 x 5.4 x 4.8 cm. A cluster of gemmy, colorless crystals of apophyllite, on a stalk of stalactitic quart and micro-stilbites, from Jalgaon. All terminations are complete, and there is no damage.
11.6 x 6.1 x 3.4 cm. This is a single VERY LARGE complete, terminated and undamaged crystal of apophyllite, on a perfect natural "base" of a bit of matrix. It has glassy/gemmy tips and light green color through the middle. You can see some pearly, light salmon-colored stilbites accenting its sides. Quite an aesthetic and impressive specimen!
5.7 x 3.9 x 3.5 cm. Glassy, mesmerizing apophyllite crystals with the best lustre I have EVER seen on the stuff. This is not just another small common Indian zeolite apoph specimen. It glows with lack of color, if that makes sense, and is jus tone of the gemmiest, most sparkly pieces of anything, period. Superbly aesthetic and 3-D, complete all around but for one rear-facing crystal. Ex. Charlie Key Collection.
