12.4 x 8.7 x 6.2 cm. I know that Indian Zeolite specimens are everywhere, but you must appreciate them for what they are. They are simply some of the finest crystallized examples of their respective species extant. This piece is actually from a find from nearly 20 years ago, and came from the collection of Brian Kosnar. It features good sized, sharp, lustrous, blocky, light blue-green color crystals of Apophyllite measuring up to 2.1 cm with several porcelain white Stilbite sheaves up to 2.8 cm surrounding it. The crystals sit on a basalt matrix that is covered with white Heulandite. This piece is one of the best display specimens that I have seen from Lonavala in a long time.

A spectacular floater specimen, as pristine and perfect as you could ask for. It is an "infamous" piece illustrated in many advertisements in mineral magazines from teh early 1990s. We have all seen a lot of Indian zeolites, but this particular piece is truly that extra bit of perfection! Ex. Matthew Webb collection. 4.7 x 3.4 x 1.3 cm

A striking, 5.6 x 4.1 cm, color-zoned, blocky apophyllite crystal is aesthetically set on cabinet-sized basalt matrix covered with lustrous, flesh-colored stilbite crystals and smaller apophyllite crystals on this excellent specimen from recent finds at Jalgaon, India. The apophyllite crystal has interesting, modified corners and the green center area really stands out.

12.5 x 9.5 x 7.5 cm. The famous basalt quarries near Jalgaon have produced a stunning variety of beautiful zeolite specimens and this is an excellent cabinet example. A striking cluster of pearlescent, tan stilbite crystals rests on a shard of basalt matrix. The impressive, large stilbite bowtie is 10.5 cm across. The two large stilbites are complete- all-around and pristine. Hidden in a vug on the left side are a few glassy, gem-like, colorless apophyllite crystals. Impressive material from this classic locale.

17.0 x 10.5 x 9.5 cm. Two glassy and gemmy, light amber, complex calcite rhombs to 3.4 cm are very aesthetically placed in this superb large cabinet specimen from Jalgaon. These rhombs rest on a large, 4.0 cm, brown calcite rhomb partially hidden by the amber rhombs and a coating of small stilbite blades. The well-prepared, large basalt vesicle is lined with sparkly quartz crystals, with a rich sprinkling of small stilbite blades on the floor of the vug. The gemmy rhombs have excellent color, glassiness and crystal form - and are very artistically set in the natural cavity.

Lustrous, pearlescent, salmon-pink stilbite bowties and blades and two salmon-pink, saddle-shaped heulandite crystals richly and very aesthetically cover the curved vug lined with drusy quartz. The stilbite bowtie on the upper left is 5.1 cm and the large heulandite on the bottom-center is 5.4 cm. A few small, glassy, green apophyllite crystals scattered about are a nice accent to this impressive specimen. The stilbite blades attached to both of the heulandites are noteworthy and very pretty.

A dramatic, 6.5 cm, doubly terminated, very glassy apophyllite crowns this showy, stacked piece of smaller apophyllites beautifully accented with three, pearlescent, salmon-pink stilbite blades.
