6.4 x 4.0 x 3.9 cm. Stichtite is a rare hydrated magnesium, chromium carbonate associated with serpentinites. A rich layer of waxy lustre, vivid lavender stichtite covers the serpentinite matrix on this fine old-time specimen from South Africa. Ex. Mullane Collection and accompanied by an older, faded label.
