MD-112794 - Dyscrasite, Allemontite - - Archived Příbram, Central Bohemia Region, Bohemia (Böhmen; Boehmen), Czech Republic thumbnail, 1.5 cm
Razor-sharp dyscrasite crystals to 1.5 cm surmount a mound of allemontite matrix, making this a very displayable miniature. Most in this size are too jumbly, too clunky, or do not have matrix attached. For a display quality of miiature, this one is among the better I have seen for the aestthetics of the crystals upon the natrual pedestal. 5.5 x 4.1 x 3 cm

Comes with an old label in German. Ex. George Elling Collection. Heavy for its size at 330 grams or 11.6 ounces.
MD-140340 - Safflorite, Dyscrasite, Stibarsen - - Archived Uranium Mine No. 21, Příbram, Central Bohemia Region, Bohemia (Böhmen; Boehmen), Czech Republic cabinet, 11.2 x 6.5 x 3.5 cm.
11.2 x 6.5 x 3.5 cm. Safflorite is an uncommon cobalt iron arsenide. A 1.3 cm curtain of silvery-bright, spongy safflorite microcrystals artfully rests in vuggy matrix with dark gray dyscrasite and etched milky quartz. The CABINET matrix is MOST UNUSUAL and SHOWY, being SOLID banded, botryoidal "allemontite". "Allemontite" is a RARE natural alloy of variable composition of arsenic and antimony. This is a VERY FINE combination piece from Pribram. Ex. Petr Ondrus and Josef Vajdak Collections. Vajdak is a noted Pribram specialist. This is, for what it is, a fine piece, valued by Josef quite highly.
MD-158539 - Dyscrasite, Stibarsen - - Archived Uranium Mine No. 21, Příbram, Central Bohemia Region, Bohemia (Böhmen; Boehmen), Czech Republic miniature, 3.6 x 2.9 x 1.9 cm.
3.6 x 2.9 x 1.9 cm. An extremely rare and irreplaceable old-time Pribram specimen of lustrous, flattened, metallic dyscrasite blades emplaced jackstraw fashion in a matrix of allemontite and etched milky quartz. Allemontite is a RARE natural alloy of variable composition of arsenic and antimony. This showy piece is from the now-closed Uranium Mine #21. This is a VERY FINE combination piece from Pribram. Ex. Josef Vajdak Collection. Vajdak is a noted Pribram specialist. This is, for what it is, a fine piece, valued by Josef quite highly.
MD-202015 - Stibarsen - - Archived American Eagle; Luona Occurrence, Elk Mountain District, Gunnison Co., Colorado, USA miniature, 4.7 x 3.2 x 3.2 cm.
4.7 x 3.2 x 3.2 cm. This is a rich specimen of stibarsen, with spheroidal nodules and massive seams in ore matrix. Even though the label has somehow been lost since then, we know that this is not a European specimen and so is either from Gunnison Co., Colorado or from Ophir Mine in the Comstock Lode, Nevada. However the Nevada locality has no associations of red minerals listed as occurring there, while several occur in the Colorado locale - and this piece has small red flecks of two different species present on it. So although the locality is given without a confirming label, we think it to be a correct one. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences Philadelphia Collection.
MD-204179 - Stibarsen - - Archived Les Chalanches Mine, Allemont, Isère, Rhône-Alpes, France miniature, 4.1 x 2.7 x 1.3 cm.
4.1 x 2.7 x 1.3 cm. A very rich, fine, and nearly solid dark gray ore specimen of the rare natural alloy stibarsen (allemontite is an old synonym for this alloy) allemontite from the Type Locality - Allemont, France. Allemontite is a variable composition of arsenic and antimony. Comes with an old, faded, expertly handwritten label. The collection this came out of was a museum stash dating to prior to World War I.

PAS-124 - Stibarsen - $ 200 SOLD American Eagle, Luona Occurrence, Elk Mountain District, Gunnison Co., Colorado (probable) miniature, 4.7 x 3.2 x 3.2 cm ex. Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences
This is a rich specimen of stibarsen, with spheroidal nodules and massive seams in ore matrix. Since we know this is from North or South America (as the collection was divided, it was in the North & South American group...), even though the label has somehow been lost since then, we know that this is not a European specimen and so is either from Gunnison Co., Colorado or from Ophir Mine in the Comstock Lode, Nevada. However the Nevada locality has no associations of red minerals listed as occurring there, while several occur in the Colorado locale - and this piece has small red flecks of two different species present on it. So although the locality is given without a confirming label, we think it to be a correct one.
UNIVAZ-125 - Stibarsen - $ 400 SOLD Moctezuma Mine, Sonora, Mexico small cabinet, 5.8 x 3.0 x 1.6 cm ex. University of Arizona
A beautiful, lustrous specimen of stibarsen, normally not one of your sexier metallic species. The piece is convex on one side, concave on the other, and presents nicely either way. This mineral is composed of simply AsSb - arsenic and antimony, with no other elements. It is a very weird thing, thus! From the collection of the University of Arizona Museum.
