7.8 x 5.5 x 5.2 cm. Dal’negorsk has definitely become one of the premier contemporary sulfide produces localities around. The mine is still active and manages to produce amazing quality sulfides that do not receive the appreciation they deserve. The piece is comprised of flatted, white "discs" of Calcite stacked upon one another to form long, narrow crystal aggregates. The Calcites are associated with highly lustrous, silver colored cuboctahedra of Galena and jet black, sparkling twinned Sphalerite crystal matrix. Ex. Kosnar Collection.

6.8 x 5.6 x 4.4 cm. From the extremely exciting NEW FIND at this CLASSIC locality - a superb combo specimen. On a bed of lustrous crystals of galena, sphalerite and a few chalcopyrites is a complex compound crystal of fluorite with a beautiful min-green hue. Modified, beveled cubes seem to be growing out of a central, more nebulous fluorite "base". The cubes have clear "windows" into the transparent interior of the fluorite.

11.6 x 10.6 x 6.2 cm. A LARGE specimen from the recent finds at Naica - a thick plate of sphalerite serves as the base for a big, rich cluster of tightly intergrown fluorite crystals. Sprinkled across the fluorites are brassy little pyrites, and the pyrites are also richly included INSIDE the fluorite crystals - you can see them clearly when you look into the absolutely transparent "window" faces of the fluorites.

3.9 x 3.9 x 3.5 cm. A JEWEL-LIKE, pristine, lavender, cuboctohedral fluorite crystal on bed of sphalerite from the recent find at the Gibralter Mine at Naica. Most of the lustrous faces on this beauty are lightly frosted, which makes the crystal translucent. BUT, a couple of side faces are gem-clear, which give a television-like view in to the crystal interior. A really neat effect. CLASSIC and very fine Naica material.

4.2 x 3.1 x 2.5 cm. Under good light you can see that this huge sphalerite crystal is actually a gemmy wine-red! It measures 2 centimeters; it has a smaller crystal growing next to it, and is backed by bladed calcite crystals, with small crystals beneath it. These Shuikoushan sphalerites are very significant for the species!

5.4 x 4.4 x 4.1 cm. From the NEW finds at this classic old mine - a gorgeous specimen of transparent fluuorite crystals with frosted bevels. The side faces are like clear glass windows into the super-transparent interior, with the bevels "framing" them. The sphalerite and pyrite accent the crystals beautifully. This is a really aesthetic and nicely-trimmed one, with the crystals nestled together in a recess in the matrix.

A bright, beautiful piece with two prominent, cuboctahedral fluorite crystals resting on a bed of lustrous, jet-black sphalerite and nicely accented with brassy chalcopyrite crystals. Most of the lustrous faces on this beauty are lightly frosted, which makes the crystals translucent.
