6.2 x 3.7 x 1.3 cm. From the prime worldwide lazulite locality, sharp, deep teal-blue crystals to 1.2 cm, in assocation with quartz and siderite. Ex. Rod Tyson Collection.
5.9 x 4.2 x 3.2 cm. This is a very complexly crystallized galena specimen, with an accenting drapery of siderite.
5.7 x 4.2 x 3.7 cm. A superb miniature with a sharp, 3-D crystal of galena measuring 2.7 cm nicely centered on siderite matrix. The crystal is perfect and complete, symmetric all around except for two small sections where some growth contact apparently took place and there are little microfaces instead of the normal bevel on an edge.
5.3 x 4.7 x 2.2 cm. A very fine chalcopyrite for the locality, with sharp crystals to over 1 cm perched on crystallized siderite matrix.
6.2 x 4.1 x 3.6 cm. A beautiful association specimen from this classic locale, with sharp , translucent golden-amber siderites to about 1 cm in size.
8.0 x 6.5 x 3.3 cm. A rich, lustrous specimen of sharp galena crystals accented by siderite and sparkling calcite, from this classic locality.
An old stalactitic siderite specimen featuring three intergrown branches, with small crystals of galena on one side.GEORGE FISHER COLLECTION 4.2 x 3.2 x 2.8
11.0 x 8.0 x 5.5 cm. A showy, old-time cabinet specimen of lustrous, glassy, colorless fluorite cubes to 3.4 cm aesthetically and richly strewn on a matrix of lustrous, brown siderite blades. This classic specimen is from the ancient Ludwig-Vereinigt-Feld Mine of Saxony, Germany, which worked iron- and copper-bearing fluorite veins. The mine closed in 1991. Excellent fluorescence.
8.9 x 8.5 x 3.3 cm. This is a superb specimen where every one of the three species, sparkles brightly. The contrast, with the quartz vein winding over the sphalerite, and accented by golden siderite, is striking.
6.3 x 5.7 x 1.7 cm. Sharp crystals to 1.25 cm of classic Neudorf, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany galena are emplaced on beautiful siderite, sparkling quartz, and very 3-dimensional. The siderite is translucent and sharp.
5.2 x 3.9 x 2.4 cm. A razor-sharp, isolated galena crystal of classic Neudorf form, 1.3 cm across, sitting on brilliantly lustrous golden siderite.
6.8 x 4.8 x 4.5 cm. Another beautiful old 1800s-era combination piece, from Neudorf. This specimen has one with galena to 1.5 cm on matrix with brilliantly sparkling quartz and siderite.
5.0 x 3.6 x 3.1 cm. A fine combination pseudomorph specimen from the Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dal’negorsk, Russia. Mirror-bright, jet-black ilvaite crystals richly cover all sides of the diverging cluster of green to brown siderite pseudomorphing very elongated aragonite needles. From finds in the 1990s. Ex. Ryan Bowling Collection.
9.5 x 7.4 x 2.2 cm. A fine segregated crust with a hole in the center of very glassy, gemmy, yellow-green siderite blades and lustrous, translucent, light gray dolomite rhombs. The dolomite rhombs are preferentially and richly covered with bright, brassy, tabular, hexagonal pyrrhotite crystals. This is classic combination material from the famous 1960s find at the Morro Velho Gold Mine of Brazil. Ex Dr. Gary Hansen Collection.
8.2 x 8.0 x 5.7 cm. This specimen is comprised of several wonderful, large, semi-lustrous, well crystallized, greenish-brown compressed rhombohedra of Siderite associated with a somewhat large, partial crystal of Pyrite. This piece came from a find in 2004.
