An elegant, taller crystal and very large for the find! Small contact at the top, but not damaged per se. Displays very well!

one of the best large crystals, with super rich color and excellent thick termination! XLS of this quality were extremely few and far between, and the price premium is reflected in both quality AND size of the crystal. It IS gorgeous.

Super, elegant crysatl
One of the few larger crystals in the find, this is very fat and has deep, rich color. it displays most impressively! small bit of damage at the BACK of the termination, not seen from display face.
There have been literally thousands of single scapolite crystals brought to the marketplace in the last several years form a variety of lcoalities, but this is one of the very few matrix specimens I have seen from ANY locality. Purple scapolite of this high, gemmy calibre is exceedingly rare. Half a dozen, lilac-colored, gemmy and lustrous scapolite crystals, to 3.0 cm in length, are aesthetically perched on matrix. This would be a fantastic addition to any pegmatite or Pakistani gem crystals suite.
A very rare and unusual purple scapolite, quite uncommon from Burma! This came out about 4 years ago, and this particular specimen was one of the best of the find that I am aware of (or was, at the time - I have seen no more since).
Almost all of the gemmy scapolite crystals from this area are a light, golden color, which makes this specimen very unusual. Even more unusual is the apparent dichroisism in which the color down the C axis is a more deeply, VIVID purple, with red highlights, than that seen on the prism faces. Good luster, and translucence add significantly to this specimen’s value. I won't even show the c-axis purple here, because it would look like a salesman's trick. it is THAT intense. Complete and pristine all around!
