Miniature, 5 x 4 x 2.5 cm For the species (one of the very rare complex carbonates from MSH), this is a very rich specimen, with eye-visible crystals throughout. Sharp isolated crystals are perched on the analcime, and adjacent to the analcime cluster is a sabinaite group measuring 6 mm across, again with eye-visible, sharp crystals.

Sabinaite, Analcime, Siderite - Poudrette quarry (Demix quarry; Uni-Mix quarry; Desourdy quarry), Mont Saint-Hilaire, Rouville RCM, Montérégie, Québec, Canada

2.9 x 2.7 x 2.7 cm. Sabinaite is rare sodium, zirconium, titanium carbonate found in only two localities worldwide, both in Canada. Tan sabinaite crystals are nicely scattered as clusters and isolated crystals on the combination matrix of siderite and porcelaneous analcime crystals.
