Bright tufts of sub-mm , acicular crystals are richly scattered about this large matrix specimen of the very rare species rapidcreekite. Clusters reach 3 mm across and this is one of the richest specimens I have seen for sale. Al Ordway, a skilled field collector, collected these on one of his several trips here in the late 70s and early 80s.

A good and somewhat showy specimen of this rare calcium sulphate carbonate , with eye-visible white crystals on contrasting matrix. Large and rich specimen, I am told! 10 x 6 x 3 cm
