This unusual, off-centered scepter has very deep amethyst color and is a "one of a kind" from this wonderful Namibian location. Both teh geometry and the color are highly unusual! Moreover, the color is the deepest grape-juice hue and saturation you can imagine.
ex. Charlie Key
A cute miniature scepter that has that dark, desirable coloration. It is absolutely beautiful, and has intense grape juice color - but is more gemmy and lustrous than others from the collection of this intensely purple style of amethyst for some reason. Pristine except for one small contact on the back face of the sceptre head. BERY rare specimen in hue and quality!

A sweet miniature scepter sitting on a starburst of quartz crystals. Very showy little piece! The smoky sceptre head is 1 cm.

A stunning quartz with incredible lusrte AND clarity - and with sharp amethyst and smoky phantoms . Note the additional, interesting faces on the termination's right edge, which add more to separate this piece from so many others.
ex. Charlie Key
Glass-clear, razor-sharp, quartz crystal with a sharp amethyst phantom in the middle. The little prehnite on the side is a bonus.
ex. Charlie Key
This almost textbook scepter has a clear shaft and a smoky head. A very small doubly-terminated accents the side of one face. A faint blush of purple inside is a nice accent as well.

Here you have a smoky scepter : one of our favorites for its’ type. You just have to see it in person. All of the faces have wonderfully intricate skeletal growth and unusual glassiness for this habit.
ex. Charlie Key
Here we have a beautiful doubly-terminated scepter with wisps of amethyst swirling in the head. Really sharp and geometrically pleasing!
ex. Charlie Key
This crystal has a gemmy smoky-headed scepter with a clear shaft included with red hematite. The faces of this remarkable specimen are showing skeletal growth - enough to add accent, but not enough to disrupt symmetry. What a Beauty!

An off-center scepter with a smoky/amethyst head...most unusual and very "cute" !

I love this piece! It is so unique...Two gemmy, water clear crystals sit side by side. One of the pair has a beautiful smoky amethyst phantom while the other is crystal clear. You couldn't make a sharper contrast if you carved the thing! On the back there are five small prehnite balls. The steep termination is unusually steep, with an extra face thrown in to accentuate the dramatic rise at the top of the crystals. This is a perfect 360 degree mineral specimen and aside from that the clarity and transparency are as high as could be wished for.
ex. Charlie Key
A truly unusual glassy amethyst with a wonderful blush of amethyst and additionally a quite unexplained phantom inside that is much more apparent in person - maybe a clay-inclusion? This photo does not do it justice.
ex. Charlie Key
This is an intensely colored, dark purple amethyst of quite good color saturation for the locale!
ex. Charlie Key
Attractive, gemmy, crystal clear quartz with a fantastic MIXED smoky and amethyst phantom. Literally , of two phantoms one (upper) phantom seems to be amethyst in the middle and smoky at the edges! The lower phantom is a more total amethyst hue.
ex. Charlie Key
Water clear quartz with a beautiful smoky-and-amethyst phantom makes a wonderful display specimen. Like the above piece, this crystal holds an unusually mixed phanotm, seemingly showing both colors.
