A plate of smoky quartz crystals from the Alps, with dozens of gemmy crystals to 1.7 cm, on matrix. 15.0 x 15.0 x 9.0 cm
Check out this perfect, glowing yellow ball of fluorite on the tip of a stalactite of quartz! This one fluorite is isolated on the stalactitic quartz plate, making it really dramatic. 13.8 x 11.2 x 7.6 cm
Large, pearly pastel orangey-pink stilbite crystals on a dramatically contrasting matrix of dark gray quartz, with small spheres of translucent quartz decorating its surface. Very pretty and showy! 11.1 x 8.6 x 8.4 cm
A geode of super-sparkly deep grey quartz with delicate, translucent stalactitic structures decorating its interior. Exquisite! 8.5 x 6.8 x 6.4 cm
The calcites on this specimen (the larger is 2.7 cm) have a beautiful shimmering, creamy surface that the pics did not capture. They sit on a bed of quartz crystals, with some tiny calcites scattered amongst them. A pretty Eastern European piece. 8.4 x 8.3 x 3.2 cm
These are a really unique form and color for fluorite (tinted by hematite inclusions), similar in form to the yellow Indian fluorite balls that look like eggs. This specimen has five of these fluorite balls, to 0.8 cm, on a matrix of contrasting grey quartz. 6.2 x 5.8 x 2.5 cm
A beautiful Eastern European small mini, with a perfect 1 cm brassy cube of pyrite perched atop a cluster of quartz, with some smaller accenting pyrites. 4.2 x 3.2 x 2.9 cm
A SUPERB faden or "string" quartz crystal group from Pakistan. The "string" is really evident in the water-clear, tabular quartz crystals. Choice material from the Marty Lewadny Collection. 5.7 x 2.4 x 0.8 cm
The pics do not capture the incredible brilliance of these apophyllite crystals. Some of them are doubly-terminated crystals lying on their side, other stick up from the matrix, and in many places there are diamond-brilliant points sticking off of larger crystals. This is a BIG plate, with so much flash going on! Here and there are salmon-colored stilbites, and there is even a dark heulandite crystal. A large, flashy showpiece that will dazzle you! 21.0 x 14.0 x 6.8 cm
A 1.5-cm, deep red, super-lustrous crystal of cinnabar of excellent form, against a background of calcite wrapped around a quartz point. 5.4 x 3.5 x 2.2 cm
A lustrous, doubly terminated, light gray quartz crystal nicely accented with a girdle and plate of sparkly, drusy quartz from the famous Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dalnegorsk, Russia. A showy piece. A super trivial termination bruise and the contacting on the girdle are certainly not detracting. 5.0 x 3.1 x 2.9 cm
A beautiful and showy, transparent to translucent, colorless CABINET quartz crystal group from the late 1970s find in Colombia. The two generations of smaller crystals at the base of the main spire are diagnostic of Santander quartz. The termination is transparent and the couple of trivial edge bruises are barely noticeable. Old dealer stock of Dr. Gary Hansen and not shown since the early 1980s! 10.7 x 6.4 x 4.5 cm
A very gemmy and lustrous, 1.5 cm, tri-colored tourmaline artfully attached to a lustrous, preferentially frosted, gray quartz crystal from Brazil. The tourmaline grades from indicolite-blue to light green to a narrow cranberry-red layer at the very glassy termination. The quartz crystal is nicely accented by off-white lepidolite books. 6.0 x 3.2 x 3.0 cm
A complete cube of light purple fluorite on quartz. 3.6 x 3.2 x 2.9 cm
A pretty rosette of amethyst from India, quite uncommon on the market. 2.9 x 2.6 x 1.4 cm
