These were one of the big sensations of last year, but there were NONE to be seen at Tucson. What you see are small euhedral purple fluorites INSIDE a crystal of quartz (which is actually more transparent in person). Just a sensational example of a crystal-in-crystal inclusion! 6.9 x 1.3 x 1.2 cm
We bought all the best specimens from this pocket that was discovered last year in Jalgaon, of pretty pink stilbite clusters on dove-gray, sparkly stalactitic quartz. 5.0 x 4.9 x 3.2 cm
Rare red quartz from a famous, small find of about 5 yerars ago 2.7 x 2.1 x 1.6 cm
Very fine spray of crystals with classic pink color, from 1970s finds. 2.7 x 2.2 x 2.1 cm
Very complex specimen with intricate rutile network inside~! Beautiful! 2.6 x 2.4 x 2.1 cm
Sharp , symmetric, classic spray of pale amethyst for this important locality 2.4 x 2.1 x 1.9 cm
Rare green quartzes from a famous find of 6 years or so ago, now uncommon! this is a great one with high lustre and good color. 3.1 x 2.7 x 1.6 cm
Just a really cute, unusual combo! 2.9 x 2.2 x 1.3 cm
Very aesthetic sprays of deep green malachite, sharply replacing azurite, on quartz points. NICE thumb and very fine for the locality! 3.2 x 2 x 2 cm
Beautiful duet of crystals on matrix! 2.3 x 2.2 x 1.5 cm
citrinish quartz from an Arizona locale near bisbee 2 x 2 x 1.9 cm
Very cute, rare, combo piece! 2.3 x 2 x 1.8 cm
Particularly fine thumbnail-sized example of this rare habit, with a "string" within the cluster 2.9 x 2.2 x 1.9 cm
Well, wow. Where to begin?! This specimen features a fat, 2-INCH-PLUS, TOTALLY GEMMY AND CLEAN, PRISTINE, GLASSY topaz crystal perched smack in the middle of a contrasting cluster of albite (white) and quartz (smoky)....the two colors together highlighting the deep champagne hue of the topaz far better than either color contrast might do alone! The toopaz is DOUBLY-TERMINATED. It is 5.5 x 3 x 2.5 cm. The piece is completely crysatllized all around 360, too - matrix and all (lower-right photo)! This is a stellar combination specimen, with a topaz that is really, for matrix topaz in this size range, right up there at the top for quality. It is so gemmy, you can look right throug it to the matrix on the other side, through over an inch of solid topaz! In there, you can see that there is a schorl crystal included diagonally through the bottom of the topaz (it induced some natural internal veils that refract and make it hard to see in the photo, but the inclusion is really quite obvious and sharp in person). NO repairs, NO damage, NO problems at all! 10 x 8.7 x 5.5 cm
This specimen floored me when I first saw it, as I thought it was Pakistani until I noted the differences in form and association. This crystal is PRISTINE and measures 4 x 4 x 3.75 cm in size. It is phenomenally equant and displays magnificently as it is centered, nestled in albite , between two splaying smoky quartz points. This is among the best of the new topaz finds from China. Compare with those shown in recent Lapis article from nov/dec Munich show writeup. These are better, best yet. Note the different sharp chisel termination and the style of the smokies, unique compared to Pakistani material. You just could not design a better topaz combination piece and I think the value is worth it no matter where its from. Compared to what a similar piece from Pakistan might cost these days, it is not any more expensive for the extra value of the interesting locale. 7.5 x 7.5 x 4.5 cm
