A cluster of highly modified crystals of fluorite with green interiors, on a matrix of deep green muscovite, with a lone quartz point sticking out of it! The ridge of fluorite is a bit rough along the lower edge and there is one fluorite crystal trimmed off at the matrix level, but these detractions are honestly truly minor in context. 19.5 x 13 x 6 cm
The best thumbnail example of this material I have ever seen! Complete and perfect all around! 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.1 cm
Well-balanced miniature features large and gemmy crystals to an inch, perched nicely on matrix. The large crystal has GLASSY luster with a rich cherry color. 5.1 x 5.1 x 2 cm
This is a stellar miniature, far beyond the "reference example" category for the species, featuring unusually thick and stout crystals of this exceptionally rare silver telluride species. This locality is recognized to have produced best of species, but over 150 years ago now! SHARP crystals to 1 cm adorn the top of this knoll of quartz matrix. It is as good as you can reasonably expect to find at a reasonable price point, and also fairly displayable. 3.6 x 2.2 x 1.5 cm
This gloriously colorful specimen is complete ALL around. It features a fat, juicy tourmaline measuring 8.5 x 3 x 3 at the base and 3.5 x 3.5 near the more splayed termination (i.e. it gets wider at the top). Note the VERY UNUSUAL hints of blue color at the termination, which is VERY uncommon for a Paprok piece. IN person, its quite evident and a bit more gemmy and translucent, if not transparent. The association makes it special....a good association without the clunky matrix you often see AND there is no repair to the matrix. There is one repair about midway through the tourmaline, but obviously its in context of a spectacular and rather large piece, and doesn't detract visually. 9 x 7.5 x 5.8 cm
11.8 x 7.3 x 3.5 cm. Gorgeous and striking, translucent, lime-green, fluorite botryoids to 2.0 cm are aesthetically scattered on sparkly quartz points on this excellent cabinet combination plate from recent finds at Mahodari, India. The botryoids really light up with light on them. From a special, one-time pocket found about 4 years ago.
Unusual pear-green botryoidal fluorite from a special, one-time pocket found about 4 years ago. I bought much of it at the time, and just found these two holdouts as I cleaned out some old flats. Most unusual in both color and form! 11.5 x 9.5 x 3.2 cm
A large and miraculously unrepaired specimen of this classic combination! For the overall balance, size, and quality, this is a very showy and large specimen. 7.9 x 6 x 3.9 cm
A magnificent, very arboreal-looking cluster of THICK copper crystals, forming a solid tree rising from the quartz matrix. This is a dramatic and exceptional piece with a lot of character, and is MUCH MUCH better in person than it appears. It came to me in trade with Gene Meieran, in whose collection it resided after he made a trade with the Seaman Museum. Courtesy of curator George Robinson, I can say that the piece came to the museum "some time after 1917." Hubbard died in 1933. There's general information on Hubbard given in the MR "copper country" issue in the section at the end on the Museum's various collections. 10 x 7.5 x 4.5 cm
A slamon-pink cluster of incredibly well-formed euhedral epistilbite crystals, showing tru chisel-type terminations, flanked by two splaying wings of heaulandite! I had this trimmed down from a much larger specimen to highlight the unusual combination, and I think the result is quite unique. 8.5 x 7.2 x 4.2 cm
One of the best examples from the locality that I have seen, with a sharp 1.8 x 1.5 x 0.5 cm disc-shaped rhodo perched on the edge of a stunning smoky crystal! 6.7 x 4.3 x 2.1 cm
A beautiful plate of primarily prehnite on quartz, with small bright babingtonites in association. On the back is a larger bab crystal of almost 1 cm which is really quite nice for what it is...but i liked the pretty front facade, more, in this case...so the extra bab on the back is a bonus freebie. 10 x 7 x 2 cm
SHARP, superb crystals of Babingtonite to 6 mm richly cover this matrix of solid quartz, itself dusted with pastel green prehnite. Beautiful combo piece! 5 x 2.8 x 2.6 cm
Sharp, thick, unusually 3-dimensional crystals of manganbabingtonite to 1 cm make this a significant miniature from this new find. 5.2 x 3.5 x 2.8 cm
SHARP, thick, unusually 3-dimensional crystals of Babingtonite to 1.2 cm make this a significant miniature from this new find. BETTER IN PERSON! 3.4 x 3.2 x 2.7 cm
