Yes I know its just quartz. Nevertheless, this is an aesthetic group of graduated, ascending, colorless and transparent crystals. The longest crystal exceeds 7 cm, in length. One or two, tiny chips can be seen near the terminations, but these do not detract from the quality of the specimen. It is really a beautiful spray by any standard. Moreover, it has the complex extra faces, or "windows", that certain realms of mineral afficionados praise so much for "new age" reasons. 9.6 x 6.6 x 4.4 cm
A gorgeous old Butte rhodo specimen, with rhombs to 1.7 cm glowing pink through a druse of sparkly quartz. Tiny pyrites are sprinkled on the quartz, adding a further pretty accent. 8.0 x 4.2 x 2.4 cm
Four main clusters of epidotes amongst quartz crystals with color accents from hematite inclusions. One dinged quartz, but it doesn’t really detract. 10.6 x 5.6 x 3.9 cm
A SUPERB and AESTHETIC cluster of lustrous, translucent and zoned, doubly terminated amethyst crystals from an uncommon Arizona locality. This is outstanding material from this locality and you barely notice a couple of super trivial bruises near terminations on the right side of the specimen. 5.7 x 4.7 x 3.7 cm
A large and dramatic specimen featuring gorgeous gem-like fluorites perched right on quartz crystals, like jewels! 10.2 x 8.9 x 7.3 cm
A large, dramatic plate from the recent exciting finds in China - deep green crystals of epidote scattered amongst quartz crystals. A fine specimen from one of of the significant finds of the past year! 19.5 x 14.3 x 5.6 cm
A piece from a VERY small find, one pocket, of yellow muscovite crystals on very fine quality quartz crystals. 7.9 x 4.3 x 3.8 cm
A delicate, sculptural stalactite of chalcedony that looks like the head of the Loch Ness Monster! It is complete and undamaged, and is actually translucent towards the tip. Ex Zinn collection 9.5 x 2.6 x 1.6 cm
A cluster of Colorado smoky quartz, from an old collection. Fine, sharp faces and terminations. 7.5 x 6.9 x 5.9 cm
A big, showy specimen of mirror-bright cubes of galena, to 2 cm across, nestled amongst fine quartz crystals. There is also a scattering of small sphalerites, and the matrix is pyritic. Mined in Romania between 1970 and 1980. Extra shipping may apply due to size and weight. 17.7 x 10.4 x 10.3 cm
A stunning crystal of huebnerite rising from a patch of smaller crystals, surrounded by sleek, gemmy quartz crystals. The large huebnerite does have a repair at its base, not visible to the naked eye, but needed to be disclosed nonetheless. This crystal measures 1.2 cm. Shot under strong light to show its fine red color. 6.8 x 6.4 x 3.9 cm
A Colorado amazonite of an intense blue color, complete all around, embedded in a euhedral smoky quartz crystal. An old piece from the Qui-Buc Mine. 6 x 3.7 x 3.5 cm
A fine, gemmy rhodo crystal of 1.3 cm, next to a smaller crystal, on a bed of sparkly quartz. Wonderful transparency, color and fine terminations on both crystals! This is a super-showy piece. 6.4 x 4.7 x 4.3 cm
A beautiful Zacatecas "hedgehog" of calcite crystals with crystals of tennantite in a ring around the base. Not just a good tennantite specimen, but overall a stunning Mexican specimen all around! 9.3 x 7.4 x 6.6 cm
An elegant cluster of amethyst from Las Vigas, with super-gemmy, tall, elegant crystals rising to sharp, purple tips. Prettier in person, a really fine Las Vigas specimen that came out of the Don Belsher collection, recently dispersed. 6.4 x 4.4 x 3.4 cm
