The large quartz crystal is doubly terminated. ALL of the corners and edges on the fluorite cube are pristine, which is very uncommon, in itself. The trivial bit of edge bruising to the large quartz crystal is barely noticeable and the contacting on the back of the fluorite is out of sight. EXCELLENT purple fluorescence. 8.5 x 7.6 x 6.8 cm

Wulfenite, Quartz from Red Cloud Mine, Silver District, Trigo Mts, La Paz Co., Arizona, USA [db_pics/mdpics/MD-38467a.jpg]

A beautiful and aesthetic CABINET-SIZED Red Cloud Mine specimen from the 2003 find called "Red Gem Pocket". Very gemmy and lustrous, orange-red wulfenite crystals to 1.1 cm are attactively scattered on a partially iron-oxide coated quartz crystal matrix. Wulfenite on quartz was not very common from this pocket and this is one of the very few cabinet-sized specimens that came from this find. The mine is now closed and back-filled, so this is a rare opportunity to obtain a larger Red Cloud wulfenite specimen. 11.8 x 6.2 x 4.0 cm

This huge single crystal is not your average Brazilian one, but a fine, deep purple one from Bolivia. The top part is quite gemmy and the faces are razor-sharp. Below the faces, around the sides, are the usual contacts where the crystal was growing up against other ones. Color is a deeper purple in person. 13.2 x 6.2 x 6.2 cm

Slender crystals of a deep salmon color, with light terminations, of pretty "red quartz" from Dalnegorsk, tinted red by iron as a trace element. RARE specimens not seen on the market in 4-5 years now! Valued at ??? Hard to say as this would have been a few hundred dollars even then and they remain so unique and desirable... 7.4 x 3.7 x 2.9 cm

Arsenopyrite, Quartz, Chalcopyrite from Yaogangxian Mine, Yizhang Co., Chenzhou Prefecture, Hunan Province, China [db_pics/mdpics/MD-38495a.jpg]

Talk about dramatic - what you see here are some perfect crystals of arsenopyrite embedded right inside the face of a quartz crystal! The quartz engulfed the arsenos as it grew. Minor accenting chalcopyrite adds rainbow color. The big quartz crystal is complete, the smaller one is partial. 11 x 10.7 x 9 cm

A very large, showy specimen of super-bright, sharp galena crystals intergrown with slender, gemmy quartz crystals - with a few calcite twins here and there as a bonus. Sorry there are no good closeups of the fine galenas - they are mirror-bright and measure to about 2 cm across. Extra shipping applies due to size and weight of specimen. 16.1 x 13.8 x 9.5 cm
