An amazingly shaped, floater, colorless to light lavender, translucent, chalcedony specimen that looks like a set of ears! FANTASTIC green fluorescence! A highly elegant New Mexico piece. Ex Marty Zinn # 8017. 9.6 x 6.4 x 2.3 cm
Gemmy and lustrous green tourmaline needles to 2.1 cm on and in a euhedral, lustrous, transparent quartz crystal from the Cryo-Genie mine of California. Korpi Collection. Unusual for the locality! 6.8 x 5.0 x 2.2 cm
A beautiful and aesthetic plate of gemmy and lustrous, cherry-red rhodochrosite rhombs to 1.3 cm on needle quartz matrix with nicely contrasting tetrahedrite crystals from the famous and now-closed Sweet Home Mine. Prices continue to escalate since the mine closed. Super trivial bruising on one rhomb is barely noticeable. This piece has very rich color and good lustre 5.1 x 4.5 x 2.1 cm
Lustrous, salmon-pink stilbite blades to 3.5 cm aesthetically set in drusy, gray chalcedony stalactites on this showy CABINET specimen from Jalgaon, India. All of the major chalcedony stalactites are pristine. Ex Marty Lewadny Collection of Winnipeg, Canada. 10.3 x 4.5 x 4.2 cm
A visually impressive and aesthetic specimen from Peru. A literal hedgehog of glassy, transparent quartz needles to 2.7 cm with a scattering of striated, bright brass-yellow pyrite cubes cover the sulfide matrix. This superb specimen is essentially pristine. It is very hard to find any broken crystals. Very choice material from the Lewadny Collection. 9.0 x 8.9 x 6.3 cm
A SUPERB and AESTHETIC Lewadny Collection Chinese specimen of a gorgeous, large, transparent, lustrous, blue-green to purple fluorite cube with beautifully attached quartz crystals. The large quartz crystal is doubly terminated. ALL of the corners and edges on the fluorite cube are pristine, which is very uncommon, in itself. The trivial bit of edge bruising to the large quartz crystal is barely noticeable and the contacting on the back of the fluorite is out of sight. EXCELLENT purple fluorescence. 8.5 x 7.6 x 6.8 cm
A SUPERB and AESTHETIC Dalnegorsk specimen of a curved, stacked aggregate of lustrous, hexagonal pyrrhotite crystals beautifully perched on a cluster of needle quartz crystals. 4.5 x 3.8 x 3.3 cm
A beautiful and aesthetic CABINET-SIZED Red Cloud Mine specimen from the 2003 find called "Red Gem Pocket". Very gemmy and lustrous, orange-red wulfenite crystals to 1.1 cm are attactively scattered on a partially iron-oxide coated quartz crystal matrix. Wulfenite on quartz was not very common from this pocket and this is one of the very few cabinet-sized specimens that came from this find. The mine is now closed and back-filled, so this is a rare opportunity to obtain a larger Red Cloud wulfenite specimen. 11.8 x 6.2 x 4.0 cm
This huge single crystal is not your average Brazilian one, but a fine, deep purple one from Bolivia. The top part is quite gemmy and the faces are razor-sharp. Below the faces, around the sides, are the usual contacts where the crystal was growing up against other ones. Color is a deeper purple in person. 13.2 x 6.2 x 6.2 cm
Slender crystals of a deep salmon color, with light terminations, of pretty "red quartz" from Dalnegorsk, tinted red by iron as a trace element. RARE specimens not seen on the market in 4-5 years now! Valued at ??? Hard to say as this would have been a few hundred dollars even then and they remain so unique and desirable... 7.4 x 3.7 x 2.9 cm
An adorable, pristine 1-cm cuboctahedral fluorite crystal perched on a shard of quartz - complete and with perfect form. 6.9 x 4.4 x 2.4 cm
Talk about dramatic - what you see here are some perfect crystals of arsenopyrite embedded right inside the face of a quartz crystal! The quartz engulfed the arsenos as it grew. Minor accenting chalcopyrite adds rainbow color. The big quartz crystal is complete, the smaller one is partial. 11 x 10.7 x 9 cm
A very large, showy specimen of super-bright, sharp galena crystals intergrown with slender, gemmy quartz crystals - with a few calcite twins here and there as a bonus. Sorry there are no good closeups of the fine galenas - they are mirror-bright and measure to about 2 cm across. Extra shipping applies due to size and weight of specimen. 16.1 x 13.8 x 9.5 cm
Mined in the 1980''s in Bulgaria, this is a VERy large, STRIKING specimen of big, lustrous galena crystals (to 3 cm), some with a glittery coating of golden chalcopyrite, intergrown with large, complex crystals of sphalerite (to over 2 cm). The galenas and sphalerites are on a bed of slender quartz needles. 15.8 x 14.7 x 5.4 cm
A rich specimen of exceptionally sharp and lustrous ilvaites from this old classic locality, probably 40-60 years out of the ground. It features thick wedge-shaped crystals to 2 cm across, ON MATRIX! 5.5 x 5.3 x 4.3 cm
