A rare example of the classic phosphates from this locality, which are seldom seen as anything but smudges. Yet, this piece is actually quite rich and attractive!

5.0 x 4.0 x 3.5 cm. Sharp, gemmy, transparent crystals of the rare species phosphosiderite, to 1 mm or so, perched on 3-dimensional dark phosphate matrix with black microcrystals of barbosalite. From old finds here (ex. Dr. David Garske).
