4.9 x 3.8 x 3.8 cm. From the type locality finds of the early 1980s, this rare cousin of adamite is a zinc arsenate. The crystals are aesthetically perched on a limonite matrix and are lustrous, translucent, with a pastel greenish- yellow color. The main crystal cluster is 3.0 cm in length - included a bit by matrix, but huge and in good condition otherwise.
3.5 x 1.9 x 1.6 cm. This amazing specimen features thick, plate-like crystals of lemon-yellow paradamite perched atop a spray of legrandite, itself perched up on matrix. It is an aesthetic example of one of the supreme Mapimi rarities, not found in several decades even though the mine remains open (it was from the bottom levels, which are now flooded).
4.8 x 4.0 x 3.3 cm. An incredibly large cluster of crystals of this very rare species, seldom seen in anything larger than thumbnails. True, the crystals have some ingrown gossan matrix attached, but the cluster is still huge and bright, and significant for the richness of the species. This has a slightly more green color and good lustre, as well.
1.3 x .9 x .8 cm. A superb cluster of Paradamite, a rare dimorph of Adamite. This cluster consists of gemmy, lustrous amber-colored crystals up to about 2 mm covering the matrix. Ex. Charlie Key.
2.1 x 1.5 x 1.7 cm. Paradamite is a rare zinc arsenate, found in only three localities worldwide. Mina Ojuela is the Type Locality and this fine specimen also includes legrandite which is a rare combination. This fine thumbnail features a beautifully placed, angled legrandite crystal flanked by lustrous and gemmy, yellow paradamite crystals on the bit of gossan matrix. Ex. Dave Stoudt Collection.
1 x .7 x .5 cm. An excellent spray of Paradamite, a rare dimorph of Adamite. These crystals are gemmy, lustrous, amber-colored, and range from 1-2 mm. It is a rich cluster covering the matrix, considering the rarity. This came out in the 1970’s from the now-flooded lower levels of the Ojuela Mine. Ex. Charlie Key.
6.4 x 6 x 5 cm. This extreme rarity is not only aesthetic on its own merits, quite lustrous and with a pineapple-like color to it that is unusually good for the species; but it is also the finest example of the species known, by an order of magnitude. It is considered to be one of the great treasures of the Romero collection. Once a core specimen on display in both his museum, and later for a decade in the University of Arizona Mineral Museum on loan from the Romero family. Featured in the book on Romero's collection, on page 30. Jeff Scovil photo. Ex. Dr. Miguel Romero Collection.
4.3 x 2.8 x 1.0 cm. Paradamite is a very rare zinc arsenate, found in only three localities worldwide. Mina Ojuela is the Type Locality. This fine specimen features gemmy, waxy lustre, yellow-green prisms aesthetically scattered on the sturdy, thin gossan crust. The two large crystals are 6 mm. A very highly desirable and excellent rarity from Mina Ojuela, seldom available in this quality. This piece probably dates to the 1960s or 1970s. Ex. Smithsonian Collection.
A thumbnail of this rare species of super quality, from famous finds at Ojuela in the 1970s! It is very hard to obtain this mineral today - it is much rarer even then legrandite, in my experience, on the market. This is a killer thumbnail example, too, in aesthetic pinwheel form and complete all around! 1.5 x 1.0 x 0.4 cm

And it is not totally ugly, just a little earthy, let us say...but, find another! In person, this has a slightly more green color and good lustre, as well. CHEAP DEAL!
