Very nice cluster of tabular Oligoclase crystals from the famous find of early in the 1990s. The best-formed and most prominent of the crystals displays the beautiful opalescent play of light that these crystals are so famous for.

A gemmy single, etched crystal showing still some flat faces as well, from this very old locality. The piece is from the ex. American Museum of Natural History and shows a Bement collection numbering on the bottom (shown as top, for the photo here).

9.8 x 7.2 x 5.4 cm. A piece of massive, gemmy feldspar with a pleasing bluish color to it, famously used for carving in old times. It is more historic, than mineralogically interesting, as a sample from North Carolina. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences Philadelphia Collection.
