An amazing specimen featuring a stalactitic apophyllite “branch” with incredibly bright and gemmy apophyllite crystals to 3 cm that grew on its surface in a later stage of growth. As pictured, the stalactite is actually upside-down from how it grew – it was two stalactites that eventually met and grew together, and the attachments are at the end of each arm of the branch (the point of the arch is where they met, and it is crowned with the biggest and finest of the gemmy apophyllites, as well as a doubly-terminated stilbite bowtie!). 13.2 x 8.8 x 4.2 cm
Incredibly bright and gemmy crystals, square with flat terminations, exploding from the heulandite matrix. EXCEPTIONAL apophyllite specimens such as this are still highly valued and should not be underestimated just because there is a large supply of mediocre Indian stuff out there. These came out of a small find hit during a rural well dig, some years ago, and are now vanished from teh market. 8.9 x 5.5 x 2.6 cm
Incredibly bright and gemmy crystals, square with flat terminations, growing in two directions from the center, set on a base of pretty accenting stilbites. You’d be hard pressed to find a much better miniature of apophyllite – the form and balance are exquisite, and the piece is perfectly trimmed. EXCEPTIONAL apophyllite specimens such as this are still highly valued and should not be underestimated just because there is a large supply of mediocre Indian stuff out there. These came out of a small find hit during a rural well dig, some years ago, and are now vanished from the market. 4.7 x 4.5 x 3.8 cm
Unusual, intergrown tabular crystals perched on calcite from an unusual zeolite locality. These fluorapophyllite crystals exhibit a multi-hued effect. The crystal centers are a dark gray color and the edges are several shades lighter. The largest crystal is 1.5 cm and there is a high degree of satiny luster on all the individual crystals. 8.8 x 8 x 3.2 cm
A rare pseudomorph of quartz after apophyllite, the quartz having completely replaced the 1.2-cm crystal. Beside it is a stilbite crystal, and both sit on a bed of pretty blue-green drusy quartz. 6 x 4 x 3.9 cm
A starburst of bright, gemmy apophyllite crystals, on a perfectly-trimmed matrix. When you look closely, you can see tiny stilbite crystals growing right on the apophyllites. Extremely elegant specimen! 6.1 x 5.2 x 3.6 cm
If lovely green Apophyllites are highly prized by the Indians, and believe me they are, then they would be going nuts over this thumbnail. It has absolutey everything you want in a specimen, from beauty to balance to incredible aesthetics. Happens to be a thumb...and it is a true killer. You just dont see many wellbalanced clusters on matrix in thumb size, making a competition-quality thumbnail apaoph hard to obtain 2.9 x 2.5 x 2.1 cm

A spectacularly pretty combo specimen featuring a 5-cm bowtie of apophyllite crystals embedded amongst pearly, lustrous stilbites. The whole assemblage sits on the barest amount of matrix. Very 3-dimensional and sculptural rather than flat. Beautiful! 6 x 5.2 x 5.1 cm
A DRAMATIC and AESTHETIC CABINET spray of lustrous, salmon-pink stilbite crystal with a scattering of apophyllite crystals from Jalgaon, India. Ex Steve Neely Collection #581, so you know that this is a VERY GOOD one. 10.4 x 5.5 x 5.5 cm
A very gemmy, pristine, four-sided green apophyllite pyramid crystal studded with lustrous stilbite blades. This is fine, old material, seldom seen today from Lonavala and came from the dealer stock of Dr. Gary Hansen. 3.3 x 3.0 x 2.8 cm
In and of themselves, the intergrown tabular crystals here are excellent: gemmy, lustrous, and having superb form along the edges (rather reminding me of Ramora rubies in that regard). Factor in the fact that this is an unusual habit for the species, comes from a smaller locality, and the crystals are so fine, and you have yourself a terrific thumb. 2.9 x 2.5 x 1.6 cm
This is the brightest, largest, richest plate of kinoite that I have seen in a long, long time. It is a gorgeous specimen which looks like blue glitter was prinkled on the rock artifically, but it IS legit! For the size, this is truly significant as most specimens are much smaller and good ones of any size uncommon today. 14 x 10 x 2.9 cm
A BIG, gemmy, sharp apophyllite crystal sits like a jewel surrounded by light creamy-to-pink sheaves of stilbite. A slightly green apophyllite of a different habit adds an accent. A very dramatic specimen! 8.4 x 6.8 x 5.8 cm
An AESTHETIC cluster of lustrous, transparent to translucent, colorless apophyllite crystals with unusual, flattened, pinacoid terminations on a bit of matrix from Jalgaon, India. The two salmon-pink stilbite blades add character to this very fine Lewadny piece. Trivial bruising to the back of the large crystal termination is out of sight. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON, as the high lustre made photography difficult. 8.3 x 5.5 x 4.9 cm
